Lotus Flower Breathing

1. Set your timer for two minutes.
2. Get into sitting position with your hands together in front of your chest.
3. Commit to a two-minute period of time and press the start button on timer.
4. Inhaling through your nose slowly and deeply, pull your thumbs apart, keeping the rest of your fingers and palms together. Focus your attention on connecting the finger movement to your breath.
5. As you exhale, bring your thumbs back together.
6. Go through each pair of fingers, with the same inhale and exhale motions.
7. On the last breath, keep the heel of your hands together and separate all of your finger tips on the inhale, as if you are opening a flower, and then bring your fingertip together on the exhale.
